You are right Lynne – there are some great books out there on navigating through midlife crisis. But not all authors are coaches. When you come right down to it, people are motivated to take action by different things. If you can make change in your life based on something you read – that’s really good. I know I’ve done that myself. Some people though, want more help in moving forward. That’s where a life coach can be helpful – to be your personal accountability partner to support your progress from where you are now to where you want to be.

You ask a really good question. One of the ways to learn more about a coach is ask if they offer a complimentary trial session by phone. Then you can ask questions about their qualifications, their background, their coaching style and more. I enjoyed your post on life coaching online. Is there an audio/video connection to online life coaches, or is this simply by email? There are so many books and even online materials that deal with the midlife crisis. What is the advantage of having an online coach who you cannot really assess the qualifications of compared to reliable authors of many bestsellers on the shelves of bookstores?

It’s true that mid life transition is also difficult. We should prepare for it and maybe avail for online life coach. I do believe mid life is as important as the younger age.

This is a great article. I am preaching a similar message to people as to what they can do in this challenging economy. Some of us are more readily inclined toward the entrepreneurial lifestyle, while other s are needing to be led into the light. Keep up the insightful writings. Peace.

More that we have in common:-) I’ve been into feng shui for about 10 years. Like you I’ve incorporated some of the principles in my home and home office. Just little tweaks can make a difference, can’t they:-)
